Your Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Development for JD Financial Worldwide Headquarterslocated in Johnston, IA, you will...

  • Acquire knowledge through training and on-the-job experiences while building an understanding of JDF processes for supporting John Deere dealers and Agribusiness merchants and managing customer relationships
  • Establish a network and gain an understanding of the various functional groups within John Deere Financial; including Marketing, Wholesale, Data and Analytics, Collections and Recovery, Credit Delivery, Asset Management, JDF Training
  • Perform Inside Sales responsibilities for a designated territory. Collaborate and execute assigned project deliverables for Tactical Sales
  • Administer no-cost lease promotions within the U.S. for Ag and Turf products.
  • Travel for assigned territory learning and represent John Deere Financial at various events such as trade shows, conventions, and division/territory meetings

What Skills You Need

  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Effective communications skills, including listening, verbal and written
  • Effective skills relationship building, teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability in managing various assignments and tasks
  • 3 or moreyears of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for completing dealer, merchant, and customer sales calls. Travel may be required for supporting trade shows, sales events or functions, and training.
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to any open U.S. field sales position upon completion of FSD program.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of Ag, Construction and Forestry industry
  • Marketing, sales, and negotiations experience
  • Advanced degree


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Finance, Agricultural Sciences, or equivalent discipline
